Our snuggest and most wonderfully wonky stay. A uniquely shaped, yet charming little room that Lewis Carroll might have drawn inspiration from. Think small door, uneven floor and sloping ceilings that get lower as you go. Compact, but finished to the same high standard as the rest of the house, it features a double bed and shower en-suite. Taller guests may wish to consider another room — unless you’re comfortable taking a little journey into Wonderland.

Just steps from the main house, Little Strand has been thoughtfully refurbished into a self‑catering hideaway that feels both refined and wonderfully relaxed. Upstairs, a private balcony overlooks tranquil meadows and fills the space with light at dawn and the soft colours of sunset. The top floor - made for melting into a slower rhythm after exploring the rolling countryside or nearby beaches. Entire Property
Contact us directly to arrange booking the entire property. Little strand is set over two floors, both rooms eight and nine are located on the ground floor. Up stairs is the lounge and meadow balcony. A private kitchen is also available when booking the entire property. You are of course still invited to take breakfast with us in the main house at no extra charge.

The garden is made for doing very little. Paths wind between lawns and quiet corners, with a bench or a patch of grass wherever you want to stop. In spring the old magnolia comes into flower against open sky and the meadows beyond. Bring a book or a glass of something good, and stay until the light goes.
